Glass Fiber Fabric Series
Fiberglass cloth, also known as fiberglass fabric, is an excellent choice when looking for a strong, light weight part. There are tree main weaves: plain, twill and satin weave.
Fiberglass fabric is used in a wide range of industrial applications and is the most widely available and least expensive composite fabric. It is relatively light weight, has moderate tensile and compressive strength, and is easy to handle and machine.
There are two types of glass fibers: C-glass and E-glass.
Composite materials are made by combining two materials where one of the materials is a reinforcement (fiber) and the other a matrix (resin) to enhance properties further. Composite parts provide superior strength, stiffness and light weight and can be formed into any shape. Applications are large complex shaped structures in e.g. the ship building industry. But also ideal in the automotive, medical and industrial equiptment.
Composite materials are:
- Silicone Coated Fiberglass Fabric
- PU Coated Fiberglass Fabric
- Vermaculite/Graphite Coated Fiberglass Fabric
- Acylic Resin Coated Fiberglass Fabric
- Aluminum Laminated Fiberglass Fabric
Comes in varius thickness, weight, weave and widths.
Specification
Glass fiber fabric, is a type of textile material made from woven strands of glass fibers. These glass fibers are produced from molten glass through a process called extrusion or drawing. The resulting fibers are then woven into a flexible, strong, and lightweight fabric.
